UndocuAlly Training

participants at the ally training

SF State staff and faculty are invited to participate in our UndocuAlly Trainings. These trainings have been designed to guide the SF State community in learning how to support the undocumented student population. Participants will receive an overview of immigration history, recent legislation, ways to support undocumented students’ common post-election challenges, and receive information about resources available to current and prospective undocumented students. All staff and faculty are welcome to participate.

Our last training of the semester will take place on Thursday, November 12th from 10am-12pm via zoom.

We also offer department/unit wide UndocuAlly Trainings if you would like to invite us during one of your team meetings. We require a minimum of 90 minutes for an official training. We can do a two part series if that works best for your team. You can request a training by emailing the AB540 Dream coordinator Luis A. De Paz Fernandez at ldepaz@sfsu.edu or drc@sfsu.edu.  We cam also attend one of your staff meetings for a quick introduction of our work, contact us at drc@sfsu.edu for more information.
