    • They provide services in more than a dozen languages including Cantonese, Chiu-Chow, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese. 

Carecen SF

  • They offer a full range of immigration legal services, including:
    • Legal representation in immigration court
    • Case processing
    • In-person legal services
    • Other services, including translation, immigration and court inquiries, criminal record requests, and employment verification letters
  • Hours of Service
    Their legal services are offered on drop-by basis ONLY, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 11:00 am. They do not offer on the phone appointments and do not dispense legal assistance via electronic media.

Immigrants Rising Legal Intake Service

  • This is a free and anonymous service that is open to any undocumented young individuals in the US

International Institute of the Bay Area

  • The International Institute of the Bay Area (IIBA) helps immigrants, refugees, and their families join and contribute to the community. IIBA provides high-quality immigration legal services, education, and civic engagement opportunities.

La Raza Centro Legal

      • Letting them know that SF State's AB 540 Dream Coordinator, Norma Salcedo has referred you

Legal Services for Children

If you are under age of 21 and live in Northern California, LSC can do a free legal screening with you and advise you about your legal options. If you qualify for SIJS, DACA, T Visa, or U Visa (lawful immigration relief options) and live in San Francisco county, they may be able to represeent you in your case for free. They offer services in English, Spanish, and can access translators for other languages. Please call them at 415-863-3762 to make an appointment.  

National Center for Lesbian Rights

Based in San Francisco - across the street from the SF State Downtown Campus. There is a nationally known expert in immigration/asylum law/issues for LGBTIQ people specifically.
